After the phenomenal success of the previous Batches of our Exclusive Train and Hire Program for ThoughtWorks (for women candidates), we are delighted to announce that we are going to facilitate the next batch of the program. Through this we hope to empower more deserving women to pursue fulfilling careers in technology.
Note: MRIT Final year students can apply - but college does not allow a three month full time internship under current VTU Regulations. Please be aware of this.
Opportunity open for graduates from Year of Passout - ‘20, ‘19, ‘18
Details of the training program on Software Development are as follows:
Full-time CTC(on conversion): 7 - 8 LPA (on successfully completing the internship)
Internship Duration:
3 months (candidates who successfully complete the training program will be offered an internship at ThoughtWorks)
Internship Stipend:
Highly Competitive (exact figures will be disclosed in the LoI shared with candidates shortlisted for the training program)
Duration:
8 to 10 weeks - starting from early May 2021
(6-8 hours per day - Monday to Friday)
Location: Remote - you can undergo the training program from the comfort of your home
Why Should You Apply for This?
1. Candidates who meet the expectations during the internship period will be offered a full-time opportunity at ThoughtWorks. They will join ThoughtWorks as a Graduate Developer with a CTC of 7-8 LPA
2. Candidates who successfully complete the training program will get an opportunity to intern for ThoughtWorks for up to 3 months. The candidates will be paid a competitive stipend* during the internship period.
3. The training program is completely sponsored by ThoughtWorks. All you need is a functional laptop and a good internet connection. You can undergo the training from the comfort of your home.
Eligibility Criteria:
1. Female Candidates only
2. 60%+ throughout, BE/B.Tech, M.Tech, BCA, MCA, - No Standing Arrears
3. Year of Passout - 2021, '20, '19, '18 (Final year students can apply)
4. Stream/ specialization does not matter as long as the candidate has some coding background
5. Available full-time (8 hours a day from Monday to Friday) during the training program which commences from early May.
Note: Even candidates who are already placed and looking for a better opportunity / waiting for their offer letters can apply. Candidates who applied for the 1st batch can also apply again.
Admission Process
1. Apply before the 20th of March 2021 (11:59 pm).
2. All applicants will have to undergo multiple rounds of evaluation. The process may include 2 online coding rounds, online technical and HR interviews. Candidates will be allowed to use any language they are comfortable with for the coding rounds. Further instructions will be communicated via email to all the applicants.
3. Candidates who clear the evaluation process will receive a letter of intent to hire from ThoughtWorks and an invitation to the exclusive training program.
*Admission into the program will be subject to verification of documents and details provided by the candidate at the time of application
